Gregory Angle will become president of the Salt Lake City-based mountain division of hospital chain HCA at the beginning of next year.
Angle's new position becomes effective Jan. 1, when John Hanshaw, 59, president of the mountain division since 2005, retires. As division president, Angle, 52, will oversee 10 hospitals in Utah, Idaho and Alaska. He currently serves as the CEO for one of HCA's hospitals, Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif., where he has worked since joining HCA in 2009.
