Radiant Art Studios, a Westminster, Mass.-based company headed by a podiatric surgeon and a computer technician, specializes in fine-art prints and gifts made with X-ray and other imaging technologies.
While most of the site's slightly kitschy offerings are ready-made and feature everyday items—a blue-tinged X-ray image of a lobster (with or without a Santa hat) printed on a tempered glass cutting board, a set of coasters printed with X-rays of seashells, a 10-by-10-inch print of X-rayed shark teeth—the company says it can also make personalized gifts using your own images.
Because, after all, doesn't that X-ray of your broken ankle deserve to be preserved for posterity?
