Throughout President Barack Obama's first four years in office, he prided himself on bouncing back when his presidency seemed in peril.
There were the nasty debt ceiling fights, Obama's stumbling campaign debate and the painful recession.
But the president's disastrous healthcare rollout is different.
This time, the president is fighting to regain trust and credibility with the American people. Those are the same qualities that helped keep him afloat during earlier battles.
As bad as things are for Obama, they may be worse for many in Congress. Democrats in the House and Senate worry that the healthcare problems could dim their re-election chances next year.
And Congress as a whole is held in low esteem.
