Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles hired Jeff Allport as VP and chief information officer.
Allport previously was an independent IT consultant, and his resume includes serving as VP of IT solutions delivery at Irvine, Calif.-based St. Joseph Health, and a senior manager in the health IT division of Perot Systems, according to a news release.
