The Food and Drug Administration has begun the process of withdrawing its approval for 14 drugs including products for treating seizures, multiple sclerosis and dwarfism caused by malnutrition.
The federal agency is giving the affected manufacturers the opportunity for a hearing to discuss these actions. It said it is taking these actions because the manufacturers “have repeatedly failed to file required annual reports for these applications,” the agency said in a federal notice.
