Electronic health-record systems developer Allscripts Healthcare Solutions named two new executives to its international team.
Rich Berner, 42, previously senior VP at Caradigm, joins the Chicago-based company as president of its Allscripts International.
“Governments and providers across the world need to drive better outcomes and increase the health of their populations at lower costs," Allscripts CEO Paul Black said in a release. "Rich Berner brings the experience needed to grow our business and help our clients cost effectively increase patient safety, operational efficiencies and quality across the populations they manage."
Mark Hubbell, 59, who has been with Allscripts as a regional VP for Canada since 2012, was appointed to managing director for Canada. As one of three global managing directors for the company, he will work out of Kelowna, British Columbia.
“Through the exciting opportunities the Canadian market offers, we will continue to establish how our solutions help provide world-class outcomes,” Black said.
