Brownlow retires from Silver Cross Hospital

After 17 years as senior VP and CFO at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, Ill., William Brownlow retired Sept. 30.

Brownlow, 62, joined the not-for-profit healthcare provider in 1996. During his tenure, he was instrumental in multiple development and operational initiatives, including securing funding for a new $360 million facility, operating an affiliated managed-care organization, obtaining an intensive medical home contract, and serving as a founding director of a physician-hospital organization.

John Krepps, 58, will succeed Brownlow in the role. Since joining the organization in 1995, Krepps has served as controller, associate VP of finance and most recently VP of finance. His new responsibilities will include portfolio management and real estate and special strategic projects, as well as oversight of financial operations, materials management and business intelligence.
