Alpharetta, Georgia-based MedAssets, which provides consulting services for healthcare supply-chain and revenue-cycle management, named Amy Amick president of its revenue-cycle management segment.
Effective Sept. 30, Amick will oversee the day-to-day operations of the segment, which includes client service, product development and management, and sales. She joins MedAssets from healthcare technology company M*Modal, where she served as COO.
“Amy is a highly experienced health IT executive, and brings a proven track record of operations management to our company,” MedAssets COO Mike Nolte said in a news release. “She has a passion for client service, a deep understanding of process and operational alignment, and is skilled at managing complex software and technology-enabled services in competitive market environments.”
Amick replaces Greg Strobel in the role, though Strobel will help transition responsibilities and assist in the completion of MedAssets' long-term strategic planning process.
Their ages were not immediately available.
