Eric Beyer, president and CEO of Tufts Medical Center in Boston since 2011, resigned Sept. 19. The academic medical center named Dr. Michael Wagner, president and CEO of the Tufts Medical Center Physicians Organization, interim CEO and asked Ellen Zane, vice chair and former Tufts Medical Center president and CEO, to help with strategic planning and implementation. … Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health named Dr. Timothy Jahn chief clinical officer, a newly expanded role that includes overseeing information technology, quality initiatives and clinical integration. Jahn, 50, is chief medical officer for Phoenix-based Abrazo Health and is expected to join Baptist on Nov. 4.

VHA, a national healthcare purchasing network, hired Christopher Dunleavy as CFO of enterprise operations. Dunleavy, 48, has oversight for the Irving, Texas-based company's finance, accounting, treasury, internal audit, and technology and development activities. He recently served as executive VP and CFO for USMD Holdings, a health system in Irving. Dunleavy replaces Peter Csapo, who has left VHA.
