How it grew to become one of healthcare's hottest: “We've always tried to be the group that physicians want to be a part of and the group hospitals want to partner with,” says CEO James Edwards.
The company uses a proprietary data-driven system to set higher standards for all operating aspects of medical facilities that EMA is staffing. Edwards says Emergent makes a point to emphasize an integrated “ecosystem” approach to operations at each facility the firm staffs, looking beyond just the ER.
