It develops software facilitating the safe and efficient exchange of patient information to more than 250 healthcare organizations nationwide, including most Blues and state Medicaid plans.
How it grew to become one of healthcare's hottest: In its mission to optimize information flow for its customers, Edifecs has looked outside the healthcare industry for best practices—from retail to online financial services. President and CEO Sunny Singh attributes the company's understanding of customer needs and forward thinking as notable drivers of its success over the past 17 years. For example, the company's Client Partner Executive program pairs an Edifecs consultant with customers to support strategic planning, develop goals and monitor progress.
Singh says the company will have added about 100 employees by the end of the year, totaling 500.
