How it grew to become one of healthcare's hottest: Jones Regional's sustained focus on all aspects of the patient experience, from the quality of care, navigating the payment system to personal follow-up calls, defines the brand of the community-based hospital, says CEO Eric Briesemeister. “As we grow, that's something we continuously focus on,” he says.
Since moving into its new facility, Jones Regional has seen a 36% jump in outpatient visits, totaling more than 57,000 last year.
Since Jones Regional's recognition on 2012's inaugural list of Healthcare's Hottest, the hospital has continued its growth through partnerships. One of its most recent is a new relationship with Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, Cedar Rapids.
