What it does: The company provides standardized chiropractic care and education to patients in facilities across three states.
How it grew to become one of healthcare's hottest: CEO Stuart Bernsen co-founded Chiro One in 2007, 15 years after he began his chiropractic career.
During that time, Bernsen says, he discovered how fragmented the chiropractic industry had become and decided to do something about it. That meant partnering with a group of chiropractors and merging his seven offices with their five to form what he calls a “retail healthcare model.” The retail design translates into procedures, protocols and an ongoing quality-control system that help ensure consistent care across all of Chiro One's more than 75 locations.
