Baptist Health in Lexington, Ky., named Dr. Timothy Jahn chief clinical officer, a newly expanded role that includes overseeing information technology, quality initiatives and clinical integration.
Jahn, an emergency medicine specialist, is chief medical officer for Phoenix-based Abrazo Health and is expected to join Baptist on Nov. 4. Among his responsibilities will be to ensure that the organization's information and clinical systems support high-quality care.
Jahn, 50, served for 12 years in the U.S. Navy, including as a flight surgeon, according to a news release announcing the appointment.
