Millard named CFO at GoHealth

GoHealth, a company that provides consumers with online tools to compare quotes for health insurance, named Robert Millard CFO.

Millard,55, joined the Chicago-based company Sept. 17 and succeeds Mike Ahern, who is now GoHealth's chief accounting officer.

“Due to the company's technology, market reach and expertise, it is uniquely positioned to benefit from the changes in the health insurance marketplace and the resulting growth in its total addressable market,” Millard said in a news release.

Before joining GoHealth, Millard most recently was CFO at consumer-review service Angie's List. He was part of the executive team that took Angie's List public and left the company at the end of June after two years in the post.

GoHealth works with 300 insurance carriers and 10,000 insurance agents, according to the release.
