Stanowski named VP at Applied Medical Software

Anthony Stanowski has been named VP at the Collingswood, N.J.-based healthcare analytics firm Applied Medical Software.

As VP, Stanowski, 54, will focus on the alignment of lower healthcare costs with improved clinical quality and access. AMS' performance measurement system uses a scorekeeping methodology that evaluates physician resource utilization and ties it to rewards for clinical performance improvement.

Before joining AMS, Stanowski most recently served as VP of healthcare industry relations for Philadelphia-based Aramark Corp. His appointment at Applied Medical was effective Aug. 19.

“Anthony Stanowski is a senior healthcare executive that brings a thorough understanding of the healthcare environment,” AMS President Jo Surpin said in a news release. “He has extensive practical experience that ranges from large organizations serving hospitals, hospital boards, academic healthcare systems, and sophisticated healthcare analytics.
