PatientPoint, which provides patient and physician engagement programs at the point of care, named Dr. Geeta Nayyar chief medical information officer, effective Sept. 1.
Nayyar, 34, is a board-certified practicing rheumatologist with extensive experience in healthcare information technology, most recently as CMIO for AT&T. There, she was responsible for providing a clinical perspective to the AT&T ForHealth strategy and portfolio. In her new role at the Cincinnati-based company, she will be bringing a similar outlook to the physicians, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and accountable care organizations on PatientPoint's platform.
