Teladoc, a Dallas-based provider of physician-patient telehealth services, said it has acquired rival Consult A Doctor, Miami Beach, Fla.
Both firms are privately held. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

“With this acquisition, Teladoc will expand the reach of its services to more companies, health plans, organization and individuals looking for quality health solutions at an affordable cost,” Teladoc CEO Jason Gorevic, said in a news release.
