U.S. HealthWorks named Dr. Mark Pucek as chief medical officer and promoted Dr. Bernyce Peplowski to the newly created position of senior VP for national medical policy and innovation.
Pucek, a member of the company's executive committee since 1998, previously was regional medical director for the Southeast and Southwest. He was the founder and owner of the Houston Center for Occupational Medicine, the first occupational medicine practice to be acquired by U.S. HealthWorks, which now has 208 centers and worksite locations in 19 states.
