The Medical Device Innovation Consortium in Minneapolis has named William Murray its president and CEO, effective Aug. 12.
MDIC, a public-private partnership between the Food and Drug Administration and the medical device industry, functions with the purpose of improving product safety and performance through the application of regulatory science. And Murray, 52, brings to the organization more than 25 years of executive leadership experience within the medical device industry. Most recently, he served as CEO of Envoy Medical, which produces the only FDA-approved fully implanted active middle ear hearing device.
