Victory Healthcare, a privately-owned network of surgical hospitals, training and education centers based in The Woodlands, Texas, has promoted two executives.
Michael Urbach, COO since January, will serve as president and COO, and Darlene Vega, VP of hospital development since May 2012, will serve as senior VP of strategic development.
“Both Michael and Darlene have been an integral part of the success of Victory Healthcare,” Victory CEO and Chairman Robert Helms Jr. said in a news release. “Victory Healthcare has expanded very rapidly over the past two years, and it is largely because of the excellent team working here. Both Michael and Darlene are a testament to the quality of people at Victory, and I congratulate them both on their well-deserved promotions.”
Vega
Before joining Victory, Urbach was most recently VP of operations at ambulatory surgery and story-stay medicine provider United Surgical Partners International in Addison, Texas. Vega was most recently VP of development at Humble (Texas) Surgical Hospital before coming to Victory last year. Their ages were not immediately available.
