Digital Insurance, an Atlanta-based online health insurance agency and employee benefits consultancy has announced the acquisition of Strategic Employee Benefit Services, with offices in Wellesley and Springfield, Mass., and Providence, R.I.
The acquired company will operate under the name Digital Benefit Advisors as a division of Digital Insurance, according to a company statement.
The acquisition will bring nearly 950 small and medium-sized businesses served by SEBS to Digital. “With Digital’s communications platform and the company’s emerging private exchange solution, their clients will now receive even greater value,” said Mike Sullivan, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Digital Insurance.
