CompuGroup names new CEO, COO

CompuGroup Medical USA, a Boston-based healthcare IT company and subsidiary of Germany's CompuGroup Medical, has made several changes to its executive team.

Norbert Fischl, who was appointed CGM's senior VP for North America in April of this year, will now move into the position of CGM USA's CEO, previously occupied by Henrik Crüger. Fischl, who brings business strategy and management experience in working with software and technology companies, had served as CGM's senior VP for Northern Europe for two years before moving to the North American role.

Kent Broström, who has been at the forefront of CGM's European strategy and operations since 2011, joins CGM USA as COO. Most recently, Broström served as CGM's country manager for Sweden.

“I am confident that Norbert and Kent will take CGM to the next level in the USA, building upon the foundation and momentum achieved by the team under Henrik Crüger's direction,” CGM CEO Frank Gotthardt said in a release. “Norbert and Kent have shown that they stand for success, demonstrating strong customer focus and true understanding of what defines both a quality product and organization to ultimately grow our business.”

Ages of Fischl, Crüger and Broström were not immediately available.
