Salt Lake City-based healthcare data warehousing and analytics company Health Catalyst has named Scott Holbrook strategic adviser.
Holbrook brings more than four decades of experience in the healthcare information technology industry to the role, including co-founding KLAS, a health IT research firm, in 1998. Most recently, Holbrook, 65, was executive VP of Medicity, where he was in charge of customer experience for the provider of health information exchange technology.
“Scott is one of the most respected and admired operational and thought leaders in healthcare IT,” Health Catalyst CEO Dan Burton said in a news release. “As hospitals and health systems strive to adjust to value-based reimbursement, which requires them to aggregate and make meaningful use of the mountains of clinical and other data residing in their networks, Scott's deep clinical and IT experience will contribute to our clients' success.”
