Douglas Duffield is leaving his post as president and CEO of Florida Hospital Zephyrhills (Fla.) to be president and CEO of San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield, Calif., effective July 15.
Duffield, 43, joined the Florida hospital in January 2010 as COO and was promoted that year to president and CEO.
Before going to Florida, Duffield was a VP at Sonora (Calif.) Regional Medical Center, part of Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health. Adventist Health also is the parent of San Joaquin Community.
Florida Hospital Zephyrhills is operated by Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System.
