Catholic Health Services in Rockville Centre, N.Y., has named Dr. Patrick O'Shaughnessy senior VP for medical affairs and chief medical officer, effective June 3.
O'Shaughnessy, 43, joined Catholic Health Services in 2006 as assistant director of emergency medicine for its St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, N.Y. Since then, he has served as director of emergency medicine for St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown, N.Y., and then its CMO.
