The North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in Great Neck, N.Y., has named Dr. Ira Nash senior VP and executive director of the North Shore-LIJ Medical Group.
Nash, a board-certified physician in cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine, is also a professor of cardiology and population health at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine in Hempstead, N.Y. Before joining the North Shore-LIJ Health System, first as president and medical director of its Physician and Ambulatory Network Services, Nash served as chief medical officer and senior VP for medical affairs at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
