Bellin-ThedaCare Healthcare Partners has promoted Dr. Dave Krueger to executive director, effective May 13.
Krueger, 42, has been the network's medical director since 2008 and will continue serving in that capacity as he also leads the organization—Bellin Health in Green Bay, Wis., ThedaCare in Appleton, Wis., and their independent physicians—in moving from a fee-for-service to value-base contracting.
Bellin-ThedaCare Healthcare Partners was one of the first 30 organizations in the country to participate in the accountable care organization program sponsored by the CMS. The network includes the two Wisconsin healthcare systems, eight major healthcare facilities and almost 700 physicians.
