Chicago-based Valence Health, a provider of clinical integration, population health and financial risk management services, has named Dr. Scott Cullen executive director of Valence Health Consulting Services.
Cullen, a primary-care and emergency medicine physician, began his consulting career with Accenture—focusing on technology planning and implementation in clinical analytics, electronic medical records and health information exchanges. Most recently, he served as a senior VP for healthcare consulting firm Kaufman Hall, Skokie, Ill. In that role, Cullen, 50, led strategic and operational planning for the development of clinically integrated delivery networks, accountable care organizations and risk-based contracting.
