Chicago-based Allscripts, which provides electronic health-record systems, practice management and other clinical, revenue cycle, connectivity and information products, has named Brian Farley senior VP, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Allscripts hires Farley as general counsel
Effective May 28, Farley joins Allscripts with more than two decades of legal experience, including his most recent stint serving as general counsel for Motorola Mobility's Home Business. There, he managed all legal matters and operations, including issues related to manufacturing, sales, intellectual property, litigation and employment. His age was not available.
Farley's first day with Allscripts comes a week after the addition of two new board members—Anita Pramoda and Michael Klayko—whose terms began May 21.
“All three individuals are highly qualified professionals with outstanding experience,” Allscripts President and CEO Paul Black said in a release. “We know their contributions and insights will be instrumental in helping us realize our vision of a connected community of health.”
