Pittsburgh-based TeleTracking Technologies, which helps its hospital and health system clients to improve hospital patient flow and optimize hospital operations, has named Nanne Finis VP of consulting services.
TeleTracking hires former Joint Commission exec
Finis, 55, is the former executive director of solutions services for Joint Commission Resources, a not-for-profit affiliate of the Joint Commission. There she led consulting services that dealt with challenging patient safety and quality issues involving the adoption of new technologies, preparation for accreditation by the Joint Commission, infection prevention and control, medication safety and the physical environment in which care is delivered. In her new role at TeleTracking Technologies, which she joined May 13, Finis will lead the company's consultants—all nurse administrators—in the patient flow category. Finis is a former nurse administrator herself, having held several positions in this area during a 22-year career at Chicago's Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
“We're truly fortunate to have a leader of Nanne's stature join us at a time when the regulatory environment in healthcare is in such a state of flux,” TeleTracking president Michael Gallup said in a news release. “The experience she brings with her will be invaluable to our company, our clients and those yet to become clients.”
