“Christina Severin brings the breadth of experience we need to deliver on our goal of providing the right care in the right place at the right time,” Dr. Stuart Rosenberg, president and CEO of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and co-chair of the ACO, said in a release.
“This ACO is designed to directly respond to the needs of Massachusetts community hospitals and physicians,” Dr. Kevin Tabb, president and CEO of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the other ACO co-chair, said in the release. “We are delighted to have Christina Severin join us to lead that effort.”
Beth Israel Deaconess Care Organization includes more than 1,700 physicians serving patients in eastern Massachusetts. The ACO is governed by the leadership of the member physicians' organizations, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and its community hospitals. The medical center is affiliated with Harvard Medical School.
