MedeAnalytics, which provides healthcare performance management solutions to ensure accountability and improve outcomes, has named Andrew Hurd CEO.
MedeAnalytics hires Epocrates' Hurd for CEO post
Hurd, 49, has more than 25 years of healthcare information technology experience. Most recently, he was CEO of Epocrates, the publisher of mobile health software applications, before joining MedeAnalytics on May 6. In his new role, Hurd replaces former CEO Mike Gallagher, who will continue to serve as executive chairman of the Emeryville, Calif.-based company.
“We look forward to Andy's leadership in advancing the vision of MedeAnalytics in serving the healthcare provider, payer and UK markets,” Gallagher said in a news release.
