Convergent Revenue Cycle Management, which offers healthcare providers revenue-cycle management and patient access services, last month named Greg Rassier COO.
In this newly created position for the Gainesville, Va.-based company, Rassier will provide leadership to Convergent's healthcare operations, including its attorney powered third-party insurance follow-up, self-pay, patient access solutions known as PatientQuest, and bad debt recovery business units.
Before joining Convergent, Rassier had his own consulting practice that delivered full revenue-cycle consulting services for healthcare providers and outsourcing organizations. Though his age was unavailable, Rassier brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare revenue-cycle executive management and consumer/patient contact center operations.
“I initially hired Greg as a consultant to help us as we continued to implement our advanced patient contact center strategy in our Dallas office. As part of this engagement, he provided high quality leadership and a detailed knowledge of the business, which resulted in a very successful outcome,” Convergent President and CEO Derek Pickell said in a release. “I am excited to now have Greg as a full-time employee to support our vision of being the premier niche revenue-cycle management company in the healthcare industry.”
