Noble promoted to executive VP, COO at Huntington Memorial

Jim Noble has been promoted from senior VP and CFO to executive VP, COO/CFO of Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, Calif.

Effective immediately, Noble is in charge of Huntington's acute operations, information technology, finance, ambulatory services and physician strategies. Noble, 48, has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare finance and operations, including as CFO of Anaheim Memorial Hospital. Noble was at the Anaheim, Calif., hospital before joining Huntington's team nine years ago.

“Under Jim's leadership we have continued to launch new programs and services to better the community, while remaining on the sound financial footing necessary to compete as an independent, freestanding hospital,” CEO Steve Ralph said in a release. “Making sure that Huntington Hospital's leadership is structured appropriately to meet the new realities brought about by healthcare reform helps ensure that we will continue to serve our community well in the months and years ahead while remaining true to our not-for-profit heritage.”

“(We) will continue to focus on enriching the patient experience in every facet of the hospital,” Noble said in the release. “That includes not only excelling in clinical care, but in enhancing our organizational culture.”
