Bills that championed telemedicine were introduced at state legislatures across the country this session. Several states, including neighboring Mississippi, passed and enacted the bills into law, most of which require insurers to cover telemedicine services to some extent, but in Tennessee, similar legislation has stalled in subcommittees.
