The VA has a program called "CPRS" that saves and stores patient information on the VA side. CPRS is a horrible program. We have to use HLTA, CPRS, CHCS, and VistA everyday and by far the best program is AHLTA.
Yes, there are always some little glitches from time to time. But that's true for every program. VistA is the least used program we have here and it just makes me sick that everyone is going by what all of these "higher ups" are saying about it. If you ask people who use these programs, they would all say that AHLTA is better.
