Healthcare analytics firm QualMetrix taps House for CEO role

Adam House has joined healthcare analytics company QualMetrix as CEO, effective Feb. 1.

In his new role at the Miami-based company, House, 35, works with managed-care companies, public and privately held businesses, third-party administrators, accountable care organizations, providers and other medical management groups. Using its proprietary software and business intelligence tools, QualMetrix analyzes medical claims data for its clients and identifies outliers in the delivery of their services.

“My focus is on integrating my knowledge of technology into the services that will be provided so that our client's bottom line benefits from the medical economics resources we offer,” House said in a release.

“Adam is the perfect addition to our team,” Dr. Lawrence Schimmel, co-founder and chairman of QualMetrix, said in the release, citing House's more than 15 years of C-level experience leading tech companies.

House most recently founded and led Fort Lauderdale, Fla., mobile Web-development company Velocitude before its sale to Cambridge, Mass.-based Internet content delivery network Akamai.
