Pharmacy benefit manager Prime Therapeutics has named Ellyn Hosch CIO.
Hosch, whose age was not immediately available, has been with Prime since 2008 when she was hired as VP of application development and support. Before that, Hosch held various leadership positions with Diversified Pharmaceutical Services, HealthPartners and UnitedHealth Group.
“Ellyn's industry experience, combined with her knowledge of Prime and clear vision for our future, will support the company's significant growth,” Eric Elliott, president and CEO of Prime, said in a release.
Prime processes claims and delivers medicine to nearly 20 million members. The St. Paul, Minn.-based company is owned by 13 Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, subsidiaries or affiliates.
