“As one of the most respected and transformative CIOs in government history, Roger redefined technology's role in the federal sector,” Jay Nussbaum, Agilex co-founder and vice chairman, said in a release.
Baker joined Agilex on April 1 in what is a new position for the Chantilly, Va.-based company. As chief strategy officer, his responsibilities include working with government departments and agencies to implement information technologies and strategies that will modernize their systems, lower sustainment costs, enhance performance and improve mission results.
“In today's financial climate, it is important that technology be viewed as an investment that is essential to mission success,” Baker said in the release. “Delivering results that benefit the mission is a key part of that.”
