NaviNet, which connects more than 350,000 administrative and clinical users across its real-time healthcare network, has named Daniel Timblin its new CFO.
Effective March 25, Timblin replaces Ammar Afif, former CFO of the Boston-based company. Timblin, 37, has more than 15 years of experience in finance with healthcare payer and provider organizations, most recently in finance and strategy roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Tennessee. As CFO of NaviNet, Timblin will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the company’s strategic financial objectives, compliance and regulatory affairs.
“Danny brings the leadership, strategic thinking, and change management experience that are needed to ensure we are properly equipped to serve our large payer customers and to engage in partnering with the clinical applications, analytics, and HIE vendors who seek access to the unique NaviNet user base,” Frank Ingari, NaviNet CEO, said in a release.
