Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Ga.) became the second Georgia physician Wednesday to jump into the race for a U.S. Senate seat.
The race is already being described on Twitter as the “Battle of the MDs” because the race for Sen. Saxby Chambliss' (R-Ga.) seat already includes a physician, Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.), and may add another one, Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.). Gingrey is co-chairman of the GOP Doctors Caucus.
