Dr. Bruce Darrow is now chief medical information officer at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
Darrow, 44, who has been interim CMIO since February 2012, was appointed to the new position permanently last month. As CMIO and a member of Mount Sinai's information technology leadership team, Darrow will oversee hospital IT, help launch the use of electronic medical-record system Epic at Mount Sinai Queens, further develop the medical center's capabilities as an accountable care organization and integrate data across the health network.
