CenterLight Health System, a not-for-profit provider of rehabilitation and long-term healthcare services, has appointed William Pelzar its first CIO.
Pelzar, 55, has more than 30 years of experience in information technology strategy. He comes to CenterLight from employee wellness provider Health Dialog, where he was executive VP and CIO of the Boston-based company.
“Bill brings the right mix of knowledge and experience at a time when our organization will benefit greatly from it,” Michael Fassler, president of CenterLight, said in a release. “As we continue to grow and respond to changes in the marketplace, this new position will be a catalyst for further strategy and investment in our IT structure.”
Services provided by CenterLight, Bronx, N.Y., include managed long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, residential nursing homes, music therapy, home care and adult day care for residents of New York state.
