Memorial Healthcare System, Hollywood, Fla., recently promoted Nina Beauchesne and Chantal Leconte—two of its top female executives—and brought Keith Gallagher, a retired Army brigadier general, on board.
Fla. system announces promotions, new hire
Beauchesne, 47, is now senior VP of Memorial Healthcare System, where she has worked for more than 20 years. She began her new role Feb 24. Most recently, Beauchesne served as administrator for Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, where she led the design, construction and opening of its new facility in July 2011.
Leconte, whose age was not disclosed, moves into Beauschesne's vacated role as CEO for Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, as well as administrator of pediatric services for Memorial Healthcare Services, effective Feb. 24. Leconte served under Beauchesne as assistant administrator at the children's hospital from February 2011 to March 2012. After that, she became administrator and CEO of Memorial Hospital Pembroke, Pembroke Pines, Fla.
Gallagher, 56, has been named administrator and CEO at Memorial Hospital Pembroke, effective Feb. 11. Gallagher, who served 34 years in the U.S. Army, was last CEO of Pacific Regional Medical Command and CEO of Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu.
Memorial Healthcare System, established in 1953, provides care to residents of south Florida with facilities in Hollywood, Pembroke Pines and Miramar.
