Hobbs named chief client officer at Conifer

Conifer Health Solutions, which provides healthcare business process management services, selected Allen Hobbs for its new role of chief client officer.

Hobbs, 55, joined the Frisco, Texas-based company on Feb. 4 after most recently serving as president of sales, client management and field operations support for MedAssets. As Conifer Health's chief client officer, Hobbs is responsible for directing the company's strategic growth and driving plans and initiatives within the sales, client management and marketing functions.

“Allen is an established industry leader with a broad background and exceptional vision,” Stephen Mooney, Conifer Health's president and CEO, said in a news release. “Our business is all about providing hospitals and healthcare entities with the foundation for better care, and we're excited to have someone with Allen's 30 years of experience, expertise and passion for excellence helping lead the way.”

Conifer Health serves more than 600 clients—hospitals, health systems, physicians, employers and payers—with revenue-cycle management, patient communications and value-based care solutions. The company processes more than 10 million patient accounts and manages $21 billion in patient revenue each year.
