Pyramid taps White for director post

Clearwater, Fla.-based Pyramid Healthcare Solutions, a provider of healthcare revenue-cycle management and consulting services, named Michelle White director of coding services.

In the new position, White, 42, oversees the operations and growth of Pyramid's health information management and coding division. Her responsibilities are in managing the coding teams—onsite, remote, regional and traveling—to guarantee that assignments are correct, guidelines followed and client deliverables met.

White joined the company Jan. 2 after serving as implementation project manager at Nuance Communications in Burlington, Mass.

“Michelle is a registered health information administrator with nearly 20 years in HIM experience,” Jay Hutchinson, COO of Pyramid, said in a release. “Serving in positions such as HIM director, clinical documentation improvement project management, and coding management for acute care facilities, Michelle brings significant experience and proficiencies to Pyramid.”

Founded in 1985, Pyramid's client solutions include coding services, HIM services, cancer registry, revenue cycle, revenue discovery, charge capture, accounts receivable management, patient financial services, human resources, managed-care services, and education and training.
