Bauer named senior VP for health services

Creative Computing Solutions, a provider of business solutions for the federal government, has appointed Maggie Bauer senior VP for health services.

Though Bauer joined the company Oct. 22, the official announcement was made March 4 in conjunction with news that Creative Computing Solutions is expanding its health services. In the new role, Bauer, whose age was not immediately available, will direct the Rockville, Md.-based company's strategic growth and operations.

“Maggie brings more than 25 years of experience developing and executing successful strategies in business development and operational delivery for both civilian and health agencies,” Naren Bewtra, president and COO of Creative Computing Solutions, said in a release.

Bauer's previous health IT experience came with companies such as Dynamics Research Corp. and Dell Government Services (formerly known as Perot Systems). She has also served as a contractor to several governmental health organizations, including the Veterans Affairs Department, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health and Food and Drug Administration.

Creative Computing Solutions delivers business solutions and services to military, veteran and public health agencies. Its portfolio of offerings includes program/project management, cybersecurity and security services, health informatics and services, and enterprise systems engineering.
