ISI names new president and CEO

ISI Translation Services has a new president and a new CEO after more than 30 years under the leadership of its founder, George Rimalower.

Rimalower and his wife, Cathi, have transitioned the Los Angeles-based company to ISI veteran employees Emilie Villeneuve and Michael Bearden, whose ages were not immediately available. Villeneuve moves from her role as COO to CEO, and Bearden, VP of client relations, has been named company president. George Rimalower will continue to serve as the firm as an adviser and consultant.

“Since 2010, Michael and Emilie have been running ISI in every way that matters,” Rimalower said in a release. “With their combined 20 years of experience at the company, it's fair to say that few corporate transitions are as seamless as ours has been.”

ISI, created in 1982, offers language solutions for healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical and financial services. Through the use of technology and concierge-style services, ISI provides project management, translation, editing, desktop publishing, proofreading and review to facilitate business communication in more than 100 languages.
