HealthEdge named Arik Hill its first VP of customer support.
Hill, 42, left his previous post as CIO at FirstCare Health Plans to join HealthEdge, the provider of the HealthRules platform—an integrated financial, administrative and clinical software solution for healthcare payers.
“Arik brings a wealth of health plan knowledge to his position,” Rob Gillette, CEO of HealthEdge, said in a news release. His appointment was effective Jan. 7.
As CIO, Hill was responsible for selecting and deploying the HealthRules platform for FirstCare Health Plans.
“His experience, industry knowledge and understanding of the challenges that healthcare payer organizations face ensures superior customer service,” Gillette said.
HealthEdge, based in Burlington, Mass., offers a suite of software products for healthcare payers. Its HealthRules platform delivers technology designed to assist health plans, health insurance companies and other payers in leveraging new business models and cutting costs.
